poll volunteers

Campaign Poll Workers are dedicated bunch. Neither wind nor snow nor sleet or hail...will stop a dedicated person from passing out campaign lit at the voting polls. This election was a record-breaker in our community. Since my mother indoctrinated me early in the poll working process (first Election Day without her and boy did I miss her. Elections were our thing together) andI grew up knowing my civic responsibility I decided was time to get my kid out there with me this year. Hey she's lucky. She's eight. My mom had me passing out campaign lit when I was six!

B-girl didn't want me to interupt her artistic moment. We watched little Serenity while my friend Jennifer went in to vote.

You always get to work with fun people at the polls! (Well this year anyway)

Long lines were the sign of the times.

We ran into Kelly. B-girl was thrilled.

Those are the happy faces of supporters whose candidate won!

It doesn't hurt for the B-girl to know the new state rep!

passover

No it's not Passover.

I am a victim of a PASS OVER.

I have an extremely high IQ (this may be the part that rubs these folks the wrong way).

I am good at what I do

Still, the big boss chose to promote

his secretary to a Directorship.

The same one in which

he said he was considering me.

Well,

after all

she does have a

degree.

She just graduated a couple of weeks ago

with

one of them there

"online degrees".

Give me a freakin' break!
